We begin the morning with one more safari in Ranthambore. One more chance. One more sunrise. One more drive through the wild landscapes of the park.
After breakfast, we will leave for Jaipur and arrive in the afternoon. Welcome to the Pink City!
After lunch, we will visit the City Palace Museum, home to beautiful collections of Rajasthani costumes, royal objects, miniature paintings, carpets, and historic weaponry from the Mughal and Rajput periods. This is a wonderful introduction to Jaipur’s royal history and artistic traditions.
We will then continue to Jantar Mantar, the remarkable stone astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century. It is part science, part architecture, part ancient genius, and completely unlike anything most travelers have seen before.
Tigers in the morning, royal Jaipur in the afternoon. This is India, and she does not do boring days.
OVERNIGHT: Sarovar Portico Jaipur or similar
MEALS: Breakfast
