Rise and shine. It is safari day!
Today we will go on two safaris in Ranthambore National Park, one of the best-known places in India to search for the majestic Royal Bengal tiger.
We will be out in the wild, reading the landscape with our guides, listening for alarm calls, looking for tracks, scanning the forest, and hoping for one of those unforgettable moments when a tiger appears through the trees.
Even beyond the tigers, Ranthambore is full of wildlife. We may see leopards, striped hyenas, Indian jackals, sloth bears, sambar deer, spotted deer, marsh crocodiles, jungle cats, the elusive tufted-eared caracal, and countless other mammals, reptiles, and birds.
Cameras ready. Eyes open. And remember: on safari, anything can happen.
