Today we take the last leg of our majestic road trip. After an early breakfast, we’ll leave the Dead Sea towards Amman, making three extraordinary historical stops on the way:

• Bethany Beyond the Jordan: The actual place where Jesus was baptized! Whether you are religious or not, this is an incredible place to see, recognized by UNESCO, the Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church, and many other Christian Churches as the baptism site of Jesus.
• Mt. Nebo: The place mentioned in the Bible, where Moses first saw the Promised Land, and died. Again, another both a religious and historical jewel to visit.
• Madaba: Known as the city of Mosaics for its amazing collection of 5th-7th century (Byzantine and Umayyad-era) floor mosaics.

We should arrive in Amman, the capital and most important city in Jordan, early in the afternoon. We’ll leave our luggage at our hotel, and go on a city tour of Amman, where we will visit the Bazaar, King Abdullah I Mosque, the Citadel and the Hand of Hercules, Nymphaeum, and Rainbow Street.

We’ll be done early in the evening, and go have our farewell dinner together, to celebrate the end of another unforgettable adventure.
